Spring into Action!

Spring is upon us 🌸 We love the idea of warmer weather, more sunshine, and the opportunity to get outside and MOVE! 🏃‍♂️

BTL encourages our team to get outside on sunny days and incorporate movement activities into therapy sessions. Whether that is a short walk, visiting a local park, or doing some quick fun exercise games! We’ve provided some of our favorite quick activities for you to do with your child!

  • Frog Jumps:
    • Squat like a frog and jump as high as you can! Jump 5 times or across the room
  • Bear Crawl
    • Put your legs straight and bend down. Crawl around like a bear for 30 seconds!
  • The Eagle
    • Stand tall like an eagle, put your arms out and fly! Pump your arms for 20 seconds.
  • Caterpillar Crawl
    • Bend over, walk your arms out and bring them back in just like a caterpillar crawls.
